  1. Yes. Make them pay for the way they do business, and suddenly, factories are closing down in China and opening-up in places like Vietnam. Chinese haven't traded very fair, and they're finally getting the long-overdue blowback from the way they do business. They may have reached the limits of what they can achieve and still remain totalitarian. They need smart people to compete, but smart people make demands. They've ginned-up some great growth figures, by trading like robber barons, unchecked, for many years. And Trump's saying "Tit for Tat." They've gotta clean up their act or fall behind. They've got to run an economy that makes sense. There're 100s of small uprisings on a daily basis that the leaders are always trying to stay one step ahead of.

  2. Uprisings probably isn't the right word. Protests. Demonstrations. Not so much against THE government, but against the local officials for corruption or shortages.
