  1. Get a strong password. Better yet, if you want security cams, go closed-circuit. When you're on WiFi, you're only as secure as the techies at the other end. And if you've dealt with IT departments, lately, these are not people who necessarily work for you. And if they're bad apples, then all kinds of abuses are possible. Closed-circuit would keep a record of a break-in. The main reason I'd want it would be to know who's at my door when I'm at home. I'm more worried about my skin than my property.
