  3. Most politicians are clueless about most things, including social media. This is why we shouldn't stand for the Congress passing laws on everything under the Sun. They are the pawns (or the cronies) of the most powerful and often most unscrupulous "experts" who basically write the legislation they pass. This is why we live in a corporatocracy. Everything they pass to protect the people is used to protect the corporations. Laws reforming consumer credit? They just protect the banks. Regulations protecting the environment? Do you think Big Oil doesn't control the fine print?
