So we're going from opening our doors wide open to a country we shouldn't have to the brink of war with that country. Why can't we just trade in a limited way with them, with a system of tariffs to offset and raise the cost of predatory trade practices? There's a middle path, but our leaders oscillate from too soft to too mean.

@JeffBrody-w5j Nah. I'm one of those "intellectuals" with a lot of esoteric knowledge. Hit me up for an alternate take on something that nobody else thought of, but always with a huge bag of salt. Nothing worse than trying to run a big operation the way an intellectual would. I'd say more, but it's easier to just send you over to "Thomas Sowell on intellectuals."
