  1. Joe will probably not even be the Democrat nominee. This is just distraction time, hardening support for Trump. whom half the country hates and then trot out "not-Biden" who will have none of his negatives and saddle Republicans with Trump, whom they believe they can defeat with anybody who's not Joe Biden. Even if Trump wins, I can see him surrounding himself with more crooked neocon never-Trumpers, and they'll collude with permanent state officials to distract and undermine him. And that's assuming Trump isn't controlled opposition from the start.

  2. The war on drugs is the cartels' best friend. Legalize, regulate, and tax narcotics. Nobody goes to jail for possession and addicts don't have to support drug cartels. Focus ALL law enforcement on crimes against persons and property. Then the cops and the honest poor people will be allies instead of antagonists. I'm not talking "de-fund" the police. I'm talking "de-militarize" the police. But we use the war on drugs as an excuse to build up the surveillance state, and see every kid with baggy pants as a criminal. We also create a romantic image of gangster culture that is very tempting for a teen-ager in an opportunity desert.
