  1.  @newguy7860  : Trump's flipped the question on the Iranians the same way he flipped the question on Deep State. He's not trying to root out opponents sprinkled throughout his administration (throughout Iraq). Instead, THEY are worried about infiltrators in THEIR ranks. That's how he's slowly made the administration his, slowly asserted his rightful presidential leadership role. It took a few firings, but the chilling effect on never-Trumpers embedded in his administration is more due to the steady accumulation of Trump's people up and down the bureaucracy. It's getting harder and harder to leak (anything Trump doesn't want leaked), because the guy sitting behind you or working next to you is no longer an Obama holdover who'll turn a blind eye or even assist you in your perfidy. It slowly gets harder and harder to sabotage him. Trump couldn't win in the rigged DNC/Establishment media. So he just kept the pressure on them, rhetorically, and let them discredit themselves. Now the lock-step legacy media aren't trusted by ANYbody (with a brain). He's the first president to neither kow-tow to NOR capture the legacy media. He just let them skewer themselves on their own sword, with a relatively small amount of provocation on his part.
