  1.  @alonsochapa8117  : Tough call for me. Because "consensus science" was all over the map there for a while. Remember, at the outset, the Fauci's of the medical field were telling us it was nothing and wasn't contagious or anything. Then they turned on a dime.

  2.  @craigwall9536  : It's more newsworthy, because most of the politicians going down on corruption charges are Democrats. Mostly state and local officials, and mostly un-reported, nationally, unless you follow Kip Simpson.

  5. And the Congress writes the laws governing itself, so there are loopholes you can drive a truck through. And it's really hard to trace a tip to a crony. And maybe that's a favor the Congress member can cash in at a later date, with a nice, fat board membership or a juicy job for a relative. That's why I'm a limited-government guy, because if you put temptation in everyone's path, some will succumb. All we can do is limit the number of temptations by limiting the size and scope of government. Reduce the opportunities and the remaining opportunities are a lot easier to oversee. As it is, we're buried by the sheer size of government. You can hide the Empire State Building under the paperwork.
