@borntoclimb7116 The industries got the people high enough on Maslow's ladder to start caring enough about the conditions to no longer tolerate how they did business. We see similar conditions in Chinese and Indian manufacturing centers. Before long, they, too, will demand something cleaner and safer. But in the start-up stages, people are so starved for income that the abhorrent conditions are a distant second to the crushing poverty that came before.
