@paparomano3390 What shocks me is how obedient family members are to the Nazis at some of these hospitals. What shocks me is how reluctant they are to treat you until you're at death's door. Hospitals overwhelmed? Hell, they've been mostly empty the last year and a half. And aggressive treatment doesn't require being admitted to the hospital. There are off-the-shelf treatments for similar conditions that most people would respond to if they got prompt treatment. But they wait until you need a respirator before starting treatment. How many have been told "Come back when your lips are blue" or similar such nonsense.
I've been stuck by myself without family in a hospital I won't name, and there was zero warmth or human compassion, until a family member flew in from 1,000 miles away to be there with me. When I was at their mercy, and nobody was there to see, it was an entirely different situation.
I'm not saying all or even most hospitals are bad, BUT many people died, needlessly, due to isolation.
I'm not sure how to turn health care around, but I'm pretty sure that getting the government out of it will be better for most people and most health care workers. They try to reduce human care to a number on a spreadsheet, and then they start treating humans like numbers.
