  4.  Princess Lea  Principles of liberty and limited government (i.e., the U.S. Constitution) are hindrances to would-be emperors in our government. "Leaders" have sought to undermine the constitution for over a century, because its limitations limit their unfettered exercise of power.

  5. Assad's not a nice guy, but he had the upper hand on the ground, conventionally. The LAST thing he wanted to do was something that was going to give NATO countries an excuse to get involved. NATO involvement was the only thing that could upset the victory he had well in hand.
