I was a professional student for many years. I never had much, but I had my comforts, and coffee is one of them. You don't have to be rich to be comfortable and treat yourself to nice things. I'm the same way as you about things like the 20-pound camp stove. My mother doesn't understand that attitude. Most wives wouldn't understand that attitude. You're a woman who would. It doesn't have to be fancy if you keep it clean and it works. But I'm pretty sure I'd have that place insulated and snug after 10 years.
