  2. There's nothing stopping the same thing happening, again. Liars in public health, government, and BBC, who lied or just relayed misinformation uncritically. Liars who used "fact-checking" and "threat of misinformation" to promulgate HARMFUL misinformation, to the point it can't be called anything but conscious DISinformation. If it was all just a perfect storm of honest mistakes, then the incompetence of every official involved is an inescapable conclusion, and the LOT OF THEM need to be terminated from office, IMMEDIATELY. No more beating around the bush. No more giving the benefit of the doubt to people who gave No benefit of the doubt to US.
