  2. Dad made all us kids watch World at War and other WW II documentaries. Even organized a little movie theater in our small town's downtown area (one street, basically). I was probably too young to be seeing that shit. I was afraid that Hitler was coming, until the end of that first series. I'll never forget the concentration-camp scenes. Seeing what humans can do to other humans like that, really shook me up, and colored my world view for the rest of my life. People who love their nanny government ignore history and the slippery slope on which they happily put themselves. To this day, I shudder when liberals speak glowingly of "private-public partnerships." Uh. People? That's the definition of fascism. You parade in the streets protesting AGAINST fascism, but you can't seem to get enough of it! Yeah, isn't it great that the state provides you security and takes the education of your children off your hands? Hitler Youth were marvelous, eh wot? gag
