@robertpalmer7296 He's coming up the steps from sunlight onto a shaded porch. He probably didn't see the gun for the first second or two, while his eyes were adjusting. I don't know what the protocol is when someone's pointing a gun at an officer from 6 feet away. I would think that's grounds to open fire.

@tinabeckett2607 Depends on what they were doing on the porch, and what jurisdiction you were in. Florida or Idaho? Do what you gotta do. Blue city? Hide in your panic room.
