  1. We voted for cradle-to-grave care from the government. This is the inevitable consequence of voting for such care. You're basically voting for your own serfdom, in the name of helping the disadvantaged. It's always a very small step from doing things FOR you to doing things TO you. You voted away your personal agency to the government, because you want the government to fix all your problems for you. "OK. I'll help you, and from now on, you will obey me."
