I think the DOJ has grounds, but I'm not sure it's politically viable at this time. As with other malfeasance in office situations, I think it'll be CIVIL suits that punish the misguided policies and actions by local officials. Every business owner in the vicinity of CHOP has a slam-dunk civil suit against Durkan. Every business owner that was burned out and/or looted by the "mostly peaceful" protests has a strong case, in my opinion. As with Russia Hoax, I think the criminal justice system will not bring us justice. But FOIA filings by Judicial Watch and other organizations and individuals have done more to expose abuse of power than anything done by Democrat/DC-insider infested DOJ. Similarly at the local level. Christopher Steele's lies were exposed by a defamation suit in the UK. No matter how the power elites spun it and ducked prosecution in the USA, Steele admitted he was full of it when somebody named in his dossier sued his ass. Funny how that works.
