  2. Russia's never been afraid to send small armored probes. But the increased activity by Russian armor suggests they're growing more confident. Maybe they think that Ukraine is close to the breaking point. Could it be worth the price in armored vehicles to locate Ukrainian artillery and command-and-control? NATO's running out of resources. Now they're considering liquidating Russian assets of around $300 billion and sending it to Ukraine. It would definitely hurt Russia in the short term to do that, but it will sour most of the Southern hemisphere and much of the Northern hemisphere against USA and its allies. I think India sits at the fulcrum of the world's balance of power, and I don't think they would ever betray Russia when it came down to it. India doesn't have to like China for both China and India to be very pragmatic in their dealings with Russia. That means trade agreements the so-called "West" can't really disrupt.
