  1. Gorka always flies a little too close to the Neocon sun, for my taste. He's brilliant, but he slips in and out of dogma, and wrote articles in support of invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. He's only critical of HOW we did it, but is a BIG fan of the War on Terror, ignoring the harm we've done in that cause. To him, near as I can tell, we didn't do ENOUGH to crush Iraq before pivoting to Afghanistan.

  2. Isn't Soros known for swooping in and buying up depressed assets after manipulating the landscape to tank them. Destroy. Buy cheap. But I've been having some pretty twisted thoughts about how the West has grown soft and lost its way. Maybe the damage he causes is the kind of damage that reminds people of our first principles. He was very destructive in Hungary, as Gorka points out. Very corrosive to their social fabric. What's left in his wake? Conservative, Christin governments. He's the Satan that reminds everyone about God. Pushing the woke crap to the extreme is creating overwhelming cultural counter-forces. Who knows? Maybe it's better to be attacked by a Soros than drift into decay and war...
