  1. The danger of defaulting is how we keep getting tricked into green-lighting even MORE irresponsible spending. You wait. Republicans will fold. Democrats will convince the NPC crowd that it's the Republicans holding things up for petty reasons, and we'll be right back to tax and spend. I think we should've defaulted in the '90s and forced government reductions. I'm sick of this debt-ceiling drama. It's all just theater. It always culminates in further crippling of the middle class and the economy.
