  2. To me, those things are kind of annoying, because the human is anthropomorphizing the animal, creating a false narrative in their head of what the dog's actually thinking.

  3. Cats get more snuggly when you turn down the thermostat. That dog's the warm spot in the house, I bet.

  4. A cat that doesn't hunt is in a perpetual kitten state, I think. I've had cats that weren't mousers. But if you have a momma kitty who hunts, that squirrel won't be safe, no matter what's in the food dish.
