  3. We feel the same way about Trudeau. Maybe it's because our elections are fraudulent on both sides of the border. I notice NO ONE going back to paper ballots, even though Dominion is an absolute JOKE. But the fix is in. Can't say anything bad about Dominion, unless a Republican wins, but neither Republicans nor Democrats have any interest in going back to regular paper ballots, with witness on all sides observing. No transparency? No trust. That's why I hold Democrat AND Republican parties in scorn.

  4. Yes. Democrats and their media minions only admit to the facts AFTER elections. They know their base will forget or minimize their crimes and omissions. Their base doesn't remember yesterday, let alone a month or a year or years ago. It's pretty much by design. By this time next year, Dems will act like Biden is an aberration, rather than their willing puppet.

  5. First of all, fascism is not far right. It's socialism, with nationalism thrown on top. Fascism is already widespread in the West, with governments running schools, health care and controlling the media (directly or indirectly). That's all Hitler needed to get everything else he wanted. That's what Mussolini taught him. The only people throwing around the label "fascist" all the time are leftists/socialists, who are doing everything Mussolini could ask to bring about the sort of totalitarian state he wanted. So technically, YES, it sounds like fascism. Italians are only rejecting the globalist form of socialism. But they still want their nanny government. Nationalism is only good as a bulwark against socialist globalism. What we need is LOCALISM. Local autonomy. Local sovereignty. The central government should be strictly limited, as the USA's was, in the beginning. But we just flit from one "crisis" to the next, expanding government power and scope gradually, year by year. Now people just argue over which socialists they want in power. So this will never get cleaned up unless and until there's another round of people who take the science of government seriously. Anyone who says "We don't want this president running our country" doesn't get it. The president doesn't run the country. WE do. The president is CEO of the government and the government should be devoted to matters of national defense and foreign policy.

Every time these people try to "help," things get worse. They see every issue as a one-variable problem. You don't throw money at poverty. You get out of the way and LET people EARN. Demokkkrats make it impossible for regular people to get ahead by the sweat of their brow. Hard work is futile. Nihilism beckons. I used to think this was unintended consequence of poorly-thought-out policies. Now, I think it's intentional, except in the case of the average normie Democrat, who watches MSM.

That libertarian stuff is spot on. Unfortunately, he's a bit regressive when it comes to things like Ukraine and Israel. He's conflating his solid liberty principles with the American Way, and the American Way has been horribly flawed since Woodrow Wilson.

  23. Our intelligence community routinely exaggerated Soviet capabilities by a factor of 10 or more, throughout the Cold War. I remember using "facts and statistics" to back my hawkish opinions in the 1980s. Yes. Peace through Strength IS the way to go, but how strong is strong enough and what does that have to do with fighting proxy wars around the globe? What does that have to do with regime-change foreign policy? Libya was no threat to us. Iraq was no threat to us. Afghanistan was no threat to us. Russia is no threat to us, unless we scare the bear enough for them to go nuclear in what they perceive as a true existential threat. Before blaming them for invading Ukraine, we need to talk about our own actions in Ukraine, and political leadership that's up to its eyeballs in corruption there.

In government, that's what it costs, after everybody "overseeing" the production and managing the money gets paid. "They need more oversight." Yes. Your top-down model of reality requires a lot of "overseers." You create an artificial system that is only sustainable by force and authoritarianism. You give everyone an incentive to cheat and then you need to "oversee" everybody to keep them from cheating. You make it harder and harder for people to succeed without cheating in the process.

  45. CNN and MSNBC have been establishment mouthpieces since their creation. Legacy broadcast media have been establishment mouthpieces for over 80 years. They had a good run. It was bad for the country. The erosion of our freedoms and the growth of the federal government now have to be reversed, and I'm pretty sure no on will agree on how that is to be accomplished, and so we won't reverse course until the economy crashes, but when it DOES come, I very much doubt that it will result in more freedom and less government. I think it'll put the government on steroids, "to help guide us out of this crisis."

  47. Yes. His push for a national abortion law not only ignored the Supreme Court decision, but was calculated to turn off voters across the nation from voting Republican. I say 'calculated' because I know Graham is 100% political animal, and would KNOW the effect of his bill. Anybody who thinks Lindsey Graham is on the side of America hasn't been watching him for the last 20 years. Right down the line, he does whatever is most damaging to the cause of liberty. The WORST damage he does is when he's pretending to be on our side and says outrageous things on our behalf. I wish he would go away.

  49. For those of us who've been aware the last 10 or 15 years, what's shocking is how long it took, how much momentum the money behind them gave these fake-news propaganda outlets. I can still see things getting worse before they get better, though. It doesn't matter if these networks and newspapers have any reach if the government acts as though they do. As long as they draw breath, the disconnect between reality and what the "intelligentsia" are pushing down our throats will continue growing.
