  1. I think wind farms and solar farms are a blight on the land and a waste of valuable resources. The savings in emissions isn't that great to start with. The break-even of when these huge installations start actually paying for themselves in emissions is turning out to be longer than their service lives, and that's not even worrying about the electricity for the Chinese manufacturers is coal-fired.
