If you're pulling the weight of others and nobody's noticing you or promoting you for doing so, then do your damnedest to find a different place to work. A young person like yourself should look for a BUSINESS to run, so all that energy benefits YOU, instead of propping up a bunch of drones. You can get off the ground just by your own efforts. To grow that business, you have to get really good at finding good workers and rewarding them. That's the hardest part for one-man operations: delegating tasks to others. You've gotta find a way to scale what you're doing, unless you're satisfied just being a self-employed tradesman, which is also a pretty good gig, although you should always be on the lookout for a good apprentice or two.
