  1. We've known that the Soviets and Maoists were BAD for DECADES. Hence the rise in Postmodernism, where internationalist socialism promoted itself NOT in its OWN name, but by systematically tearing down everything it is NOT. Marxist-Leninism is the only thing left standing, after "de-constructing" capitalism. The ideology discredits, one by one, every feature of free-market capitalism and individual rights. After word of the Gulag came out, they stopped campaigning FOR the Marxist takeover, and focused on campaigning against everything that is NOT Marxism. Couldn't bring it in the front door, so they snuck it in the back door. Here, near the end game, they are more and more openly Marxist, which they absolutely couldn't have done 20, 30 or 40 years ago. Tearing down capitalism was the long game. Once that is achieved, the only ideology left standing is Marxism.

  2. Yes. Robber barons understand that SJW culture is more of a barrier to little guys getting ahead than anything else. They play the SJW game in order to stay on top.
