  1. It's not love if it's unrequited. It's lust or obsession, but not love. The only "love at first sight" is when you or your wife/partner have a child, together. Immense feelings of love and protectiveness. Instantly. The best love builds over time. One friend put it this way: Love isn't rolling in the hay. Love is your wife making extra good mukluks to protect your feet out on the ice, or making your favorite food for dinner. Love is you busting your ass working on the house, so your wife has a better home, or washing her car without being asked.
