The problem with 1st- and 2nd-wave feminism is all the boys who got left out of developing into men that women want/need, due to lack of male role models/leaders in the home. Women thought it was great, until a generation or two later when there weren't as many good men out there, and the "free love" thing just meant that wall flowers stayed wall flowers. Women really loved the free love, because more of them got to hook up with Chad and Tyrone, but Chad and Tyrone aren't interested in a long-term relationship, or being good husbands, with a line of women waiting their turn, thinking that their turn was going to develop into something more than a 3 am booty call.
