From the beginning, I thought Ben was a great antidote to feelings over facts, but he had a sort of neocon/Zionist way of thinking that was a bit troubling. Since October 7th, the Zionist side of Shapiro and Daily Wire has been on full display, and the contradictions are eating them alive. I actually bought a subscription to Daily Wire after Jordan Peterson joined the team. Not long after that, I started thinking Jordan Peterson lost his way. He's doing better content, lately, but I think the blush is off his rose, and he's getting lumped in with the neocons to some extent. I also think his wardrobe choices make him look stiff and uncomfortable. He's made for a college professor's ratty blazer and blue jeans, not a 1970s idea of a suit and tie.

Most people classed as "conservative" are actually classical liberals, especially the young ones. Many people classed as "liberal" are actually conservative to the point of being reactionary, in defense of an establishment that most call "liberal," but which really isn't very liberal at all, from clinging to the neo-serfdom of nanny government to the equivalent of witch trials and heresy accusations if you get out of line with the not-so-new-anymore orthodoxy. I realized this when I was immersed in college culture. So-called liberals acted just as judgemental and were just as big of pearl clutchers as "old fogeys" in the 1960s. The hippy generation became what it rebelled against in the 1960s, and lives in denial of this fact.
