  1. It's been this way since the Obama administration, with institutions only too happy to implement "strong suggestions" from the Dept of Education. "You really want to get ahead of the curve on this diversity initiative. You're going to have to do Title IX trainings every year, because the rules they are a-changin'!" That's when I noticed it going from mildly politically correct to rabidly and fanatically politically correct.
