  2. The apex of the madness was the straight-faced distortions of facts and the U.S. Constitution by Schiff & his rogues' gallery of "Impeachment Handlers." We don't want to go all Gaetz on them and make tearing-up a speech a crime, but we need to keep the high ground and stand on principle. I had it out with a Humanities professor the other day. She was deep into that "lived reality" and I picked up a piece of paper and dropped it. "See? It NEVER falls UP!" Then I talked to her about the real march of human progress, from the Greeks to Magna Carta to the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. She didn't like that. But she had no come-back. "Love and Reason," I told her. Love, for what we WANT to happen. Reason, for how best we might move in that direction.
