MOST critical-thinking exercises I've seen are contrived in such a way that the student KNOWS what the teacher wants them to conclude. Most that I've seen were thinly-veiled indoctrinations in a particular (socialist/feminist/intersectional) ideology. The perfect vehicle for woke idiots forcing their politics down impressionable children's throats. I don't believe in out-of-context critical-thinking exercises. I think the traditional science and math will teach all that stuff, just as a matter of course. You want to learn to think critically about empirical data? Master the Central Limit Theorem, experimental design, and at the highest (undergraduate) level, DEFEND your senior research paper before a class of your peers. Or split up into teams and argue the proposition "World War I was Germany's fault." =
