  1.  @eliseofernandez8116  I read his letters to Pope Gregory in college. One of his messages was to quit preaching at people and just live a good life, treat people well and generously, and people will flock to the faith.

  2. "... and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." One of the best clauses in spoken English. Amazing hearing a whole room full of people reciting it in unison. It susurrates. On one level, it's a quid-pro-quo. On another, it's an acknowledgement or affirmation of God's nature and our own. "Yeah, God forgives. Yeah, we forgive."
