  1. The onus SHOULD be on the food companies to prove ANY additive is safe, and not on us to prove that they're not safe. The best solution is to get the government out of the business of regulating food, because the way it always plays out is that the government, in the name of protecting us, runs interference for the food companies, who can honestly say "We are in full 'compliance' with all laws and regulations. This has been known for millennia, by ancient Chinese philosophers.
