  2. I guess that'll teach me to just ramble on JBP's channel! Comment removed. I know I was rambling, but it was a ramble focused on managing hyper-novelty of which they speak. You should be able to learn the new stuff that's coming along as a youngster, as it's the only stuff that's around while you're coming up. But older people learned how to function just fine without having their noses buried in smart phones. Older people mastered all kinds of things when THEY were coming up, and thought needs to be given to "backward-compatibility." And maybe we ought to tap the brakes on planned obsolescence, putting less pressure on Ma Nature, with less of a disposable mind-set and more of a "built-to-last" mind-set.... More of a "right-to-repair" mindset.
