Socialism is where the elites and their opposites collude to destroy all of us in the middle who are trying to get ahead through hard, honest work, modest savings, and investment in the future. Everything about the welfare state saps creativity and upward mobility. Upward mobility is how 99.9% of economic prosperity is generated. You know why people work hard to improve their situation? Because they HAVE to.

  5.  @chico9805  The 2nd Amendment is a big obstacle to tyranny. Things are definitely bad for free speech in the USA, but it's not even close to getting the police at your door for a tweet that states simple facts.
