  1. The fact that nonsense is being published in Scientific American says they're asleep at the switch on quality control. Yes, the person who wrote that got fired. How did that person rise to such a position in the first place? No quality control. I will never buy or rely on Scientific American, again. But they lost me years ago with some nonsense about climate change. A lot (like every) model on display on its pages fails to make reliable predictions. According to Scientific American, only an act of God is keeping NYC above water, right now.
