  1. Yes. They push their conspiracy theories and label their critics as conspiracy theorists. That would be bad enough, but when they ALSO CENSOR their critics, it's deadly and a threat to all people, free or otherwise.

It's called the U.S. Constitution, where the powers of the central government are carefully enumerated and explicitly RESTRICTED and all else is left up to the PEOPLE. We, the people, have given up responsibility for our own lives and now we cast about wondering how to free ourselves, when all it takes is to cut central government's role and scope by about 90%. If they stick to the basics, it's easier to discern the corruption that inevitably sets in, AND they can't mess up what they don't control! But even the U.S. Constitution is no guarantee, if the people, out of greed, fear, and insecurity, vote to EXPAND the scope and role of the national government. They can't screw up what they don't control.

  3.  @notnecessary7730  That's the kind of idealistic formulation that gets people killed in the 10s and 100s of millions. We need to spread out the power, not concentrate it all in one place. The more centralized things become, the easier and more likely it is that ONE PERSON can muck everything up for EVERYONE.

  4. Truly a 21st-Century kind of sickness. Our ancestors rejoiced every time one or two beneficial truths slipped through. They rejoiced at moments of peace, happiness and joy snatched from an existence otherwise DEVOID of such. Now, we all shit our pants when the Internet goes down for 5 minutes.

  5. Yes. And I think FaceBook hired this Peter Daszak character as their point man for fact-checks on all discussions COVID. Social media have been censoring truth and carrying the water of the Democrat Party Establishment for YEARS. These total non-experts running social media platforms pick the "experts" they want on purely ideological/political-tribe grounds, and ruthlessly censor any and all who challenge their narratives. No coincidence, they're the exact same narratives pushed by legacy print and t.v. outlets. How many times do they have to get it wrong and get CAUGHT suppressing the truth before they ALL go out of business?
