  2.  @Lili5833  Americans are protesting less because the government's been a lot more hesitant to impose draconian measures like other countries without constitutional protections guaranteeing Natural Rights of Humans. UK, France, Germany, ... They don't have individual rights guaranteed like Americans do. Of course, the American establishment does everything it can to subvert and circumvent the U.S. Constitution, but in MOST places, you don't see mask mandates or vaccine mandates. Western democracies' "freedoms" are cultural, and not really codified in law. USA isn't much better, because its Constitution is in tatters, but its Constitution still exists, and MILLIONS of Americans understand what's at stake. But we won't go guerrilla until we're pushed too far, and we haven't been pushed HALF as far as citizens in Europe, UK, and elsewhere.

  3. The people asked government to take care of them in all things and now act surprised when government runs amuck. It's predictable. It's frustrating, but everybody wants something for nothing, so government "free stuff" is never going away until the major institutions crumble and fall of their own incompetence and dead weight.

  4. We HAVE term limits. It's called voting against the incumbent. But everybody likes "their guy," and sends him back election after election.

  5.  @fred4687  Congress legislates on matters beyond its expertise and beyond its writ. Without lobbyists, it would pass even worse laws. The problem isn't lobbying, but Congress meddling in matters best left to the states and the people. BECAUSE they meddle, they NEED expert guidance. Lobbyists are a symptom of the problem, not the problem. Government over-reach is the problem. When they over-step, the corruption multiplies and has more places to hide. "We have a problem. My new billion-dollar program is the solution." And millions are skimmed and go into the pockets of drones and fixers.

  6. Legacy media in USA has pushed the party line since World War I. It only started coming out in the open during Obama administration, red-pilling MILLIONS.
