  2. Trump built up the reserve when the Saudis dumped a bunch of cheap oil in the market to generate a lot of revenue and put a crimp in oil production, worldwide, with a temporary glut. Biden is now selling off our Strategic Reserve as a band-aid on the arterial wounds he's inflicted on production, distribution, and refining of petroleum products on which the world still very much depends. These are the same people who could've solved CO2 emissions decades ago, but were too hysterical about atomic power. They also loved hydro power until they saw what it did to river ecosystems.
