  2. McConnell DID use the Democrats' power grab against them. Kept Obama appointments stalled and then fast-tracked Trump appointments using the "nuclear option" the Democrats rammed through rules to fast-track Democrat appointments. They thought they'd have the majority forever and they immediately lost it. McConnell was pretty ruthless and un-apologetic. But he was a tax, spend, kill people abroad guy, just like any Democrat.
