  1. Authoritarian globalists are OK. Authoritarian nationalists are bad. I don't like socialism, but if small localities vote for it, let them. Easily reversed when/if things deteriorate. It's the centralized socialism that always degrades into authoritarian forms, to "fix" all the problems caused by socialist schemes in general. If government is taking care of you, then government can tell you what to do. Like a parent. COVID and the climate craze illustrate this. I call it the iron fist in the velvet glove. Italy's pretty steeped in nanny government. So the alternative to the globalist socialist insanity is nationalist socialism. The USA is more socialist than otherwise, with government-run schools, health care and government interference and back-door censorship of media. Education, health care and media were the tripod on which Hitler's government and Stalin's government rested. So we opposed that insanity and un-self-consciously adopted it for ourselves. And we wonder why we're in the state we're in. Sadly, no one is talking about LIMITED government and free markets. Those are the source of today's prosperity. Government intervention is what feeds the corporatocracy. So when we try to "solve" that problem with more government intervention, we're just digging the hole deeper. I think an uncensored Internet would do more to break up the most toxic big corporations than anything the government can or wishes to do.
