@morriganfey6079 But we all want Free Stuff and that makes government more and more powerful. You just don't notice until it's too late, but anybody who knows history knew this kind of thing was coming, and more of the same is in our future, until we wean ourselves off the government tit.

@elliottgaal9774 Many of the people screeching about their freedoms, now, were people screaming for free this or free that, slowly growing the state over the decades to the point where even THEY feel the pinch of incompetent and malignant government overreach. It was just a matter of time.

@robertscheu9771 Yeah. They couldn't do anything on THAT scale. But they could target BUSINESSES and force them to close. And they did. Without remorse.

@jame1seire Never thought of myself as a traitor. But I will say that my training in science, ethics, liberty, human progress and understanding of risks told me the authoritarian lockdown-and-bare-your-arm-or-else response to COVID was the inverse of what it should have been.
