@shootermcpooter6437 I don't fall into your false Dem-Repub dichotomy. Both parties love big government and foreign interventionism. Trump tried to break us free of that, which MOST Americans support, but NObody in high positions support, because it would interrupt their power and wealth. The PEOPLE sure ain't gettin' rich off their policiees. But if you work in education or for the government, everything's hunky-dory. If you're a defense contractor, everything's hunky dory. Trump tried to withdraw all our troops from Idlib province in Syria. Gave the order. It was IGNORED. Trump was hemmed in by business-as-usual, pork-barrel bureaucrats on most major issues. He sure wasn't perfect, appointing too many neoconservatives to his cabinet, which are no different from the neoliberals associated with Democrat administrations.

@StuTheDon17 It's the colleges and universities that owe a damn refund, NOT the taxpayer!

@turboteddy4912 Boy, do you have an MSM-twisted take on reality! Joe Biden's biggest issue is making sure his left shoe goes on his left foot.

What was worse was making the promise in the first place. What's even worse than THAT is how many stupid young voters voted Democrat so they wouldn't have to pay back the money they borrowed. Everything the Dems do is a slap in the face of people who work their butts off to do things the right way. From LEGAL immigrants to the working man. You're just not as important to Dems as the votes they get from people they promise Free Stuff to. Democrats come around every 2 or 4 or 6 years and make the big push. Then they go back to the same old neoliberal nonsense. The "progressive" stuff is just to win over the progressive wing of the party, which is essentially socialist in its outlook. The worst thing that can happen to socialists is to be ruled by socialists who are not their friends. I paraphrase Mises.
