We set 'em up for this by carving out Israel by force in 1948. It wasn't our place. However much I sympathize, the millennia old ethnic antipathy between Jews and Arabs isn't resolved by our endless, ceaseless interventions, at great cost in wealth to us and at great cost in lives and livelihoods for hundreds of thousands in the region. I don't know what the answer is, but I do know I'm sick and tired of paying for my leaders' adventures, whimsies and illusions. The USA is caught in a giant sunk-cost fallacy that just vacuums up LIFE and ENERGY, instead of BUILDING something GOOD. I don't see how Israel can survive without becoming something God most definitely didn't intend.
