Harry Denny : The fact that you throw around the phrase "free this" and "free that" says your idea of economics is THEFT. That shit ain't free. And when government runs anything, we get about 20 cents (if that) on every dollar spent, by the time the professional bureaucrats who sell us on the idea that the shit really IS free, take their 50% slice of the "Free Healthcare!" pie, before any of us receive any care.

@commentfreely5443 : We're witnessing an inversion of the 1960s, when kids rebelled against a conservative society that had descended into dogma and justified itself with "God said" and "because it's how we've always done things," without any really satisfying explanation. Kids could see the disconnect between what they were being taught and the larger reality around them. The same thing is happening, now. The "rebel" is now a guy who dares wear a MAGA hat to school. And he's COOL, because he's the only one with the GUTS to call bullshit on 800 genders and men dressing as women to steal a peek in the ladies' room.

Just heard that Hillary got her license to practice law back. The Arkansas Bar let her back in. Some say this is so she can be eligible to be Attorney General for the 2020 Democrat Presidential Winner! LOL! Can you imagine? You got disbarred. You haven't practiced law for 30-plus years, but because you're Hillary, all you have to do is talk Arkansas into reinstating you, even though you were disbarred for corruption. That's enough for her to be the top lawyer in the country.

What the moderate left don't understand - and why it's so hard for them to call out the far left - is because at root, the far left are not crossing any philosophical Rubicons to get where they are. They're simply applying leftist principles, and following where the reasoning from those principles lead. So the moderates can see the madness, but they can't delineate where the line between "rational leftism" and madness is. It's because the entire project is morally and intellectually bankrupt, as is ANY philosophy that sets government about the people. For the moderates to take on the far left is for the moderates to admit that the foundations of their belief system are sand.

The left is just a way for us to return voluntarily to serfdom, with bureaucrats and politicians exercising the Divine Right of Kings over the rest of us muck, because they're smarter, more capable, and are "nobly" taking on the responsibility for the well-being of others out of some misplaced sense of "White Man's Burden."

@William_Baxter : This phenomenon used to be most noticeable at revival meetings, where the faker on stage would basically run a "psychic miracle!" show, using ear buds and the info forms the crowd filled out while waiting on line. The "Amazing Randi!" exposed the fakery and received nothing but criticism, because people would rather believe the lie than believe they've been made fools.
