  1. It's not government's job to get us what we want. It's government's job to keep us from stealing from one another to get what we want. It's OUR job to handle the rest. When you give government responsibility, you necessarily give government authority. The more it does for you, the more it will do TO you.

  2.  @ps5801  Yes. We give government a couple of jobs. It decides to do every OTHER job and NOT do the jobs we empowered it to do.
