You're missing the FACT that similar goings-on took place all summer long all over the country, while media and government told us it was "mostly peaceful," and made excuses for Antifa and BLM, who, it turns out, infiltrated the MAGA protests. They weren't solely responsible for the violence, because there are also idiots on the far right. But the VAST majority of protesters in D.C. on 1/6/21 were pretty moderate people, who just wanted to picket and give some speeches, sick of blatant misfeasance and malfeasance at the highest levels of local, state and federal government.
