  1. I feel the same way about software, in general. Instead of selling you something, they basically make you rent it and want to trick you into buying services you don't want for software that doesn't work as well as it did 3 or 4 versions previously. Adobe, Microsoft, ... I think there should be and hopefully will be a massive migration to open-source software, like Linux. The only reason software ages out is because the software companies want it to age out. It's not about hackers and security. It's about squeezing more money out of the customer by any and every means possible, and hopefully it will bring down some of the currently dominant companies.
