  1. Israel was created by force of arms provided and often wielded by Americans. People confuse their faith with the political. Jesus didn't go to war to impose his views on the world. Israel wouldn't exist without the USA. It's a thorn in the side of every Arab country. We're stuck in a cycle of violence that no amount of "You did something terrible to us" is going to fix. Israel's fighting for its existence. So are Palestinians. Both sides will do anything and everything they can to win. All we do is keep them all on a wheel of pain and misery, in the name of doing something "right." We had no right to draw the lines on the map in the region. Neither did Great Britain before us. Yet we insist on it. Imagine if anybody from overseas tried that crap on the USA. There would be endless war until they pulled out. This is what we're seeing in the Middle East for going on 80 years, now. There's no end in sight. For myself, ethnic clashes 10,000 miles away are none of our business, and never should have been. It doesn't matter which side has the moral high ground. We have no authority to impose our will on others beyond our borders. We need to clean up our act within our own borders.
