  1. Unfortunately, the Trump administration isn't disavowing the main, regime-change, proxy-war policies. Maybe a lasting peace comes of this, but I'm very skeptical. Trump admin is just as neocon as its predecessors. This sounds like Minsk III, and Russia knows that relenting will just give Ukraine/NATO time to re-build and resume the same nonsense that started the conflict in the first place. There have to be real guarantees. A cessation of military aid to Ukraine. I don't see Russia stopping until that happens.
