Spot on, young lady!

I think Russia's willingness to negotiate with Trump will be damaged. I think the cost in human life and treasure in the west and in Ukraine, specifically, will be much higher. Russia's in it to win it. We're in it to spread misery and enrich a privileged few.

@geneimprov-uc9pr Ukraine was at war with ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine. It has been since the USA-engineered coup in 2014.

sigh Not encouraging.

My hopes that the neocon project is at an end are almost certainly doomed. If so, the Trump coalition will fragment before midterms.

Jenny Syde and Apar Tide are not a path to a bright future. If that's what it takes to preserve one vision, perhaps the vision is flawed. I don't think the vision is necessarily flawed, but the means to that vision strayed off the righteous path, very early on.

We'll see where this ends up, but it wasn't Zelensky's decision to go to war with Russia. He was TOLD to.

Danny Haiphong has him on all the time, but this channel is less biased.

USA/NATO and Ukraine have been trying to speak reality into existence for years, but reality stubbornly refuses to conform to their delusions. Western leaders appear to look at the world as unchanged in any significant way since 1946. Not only has the world long since moved on, but so have the people. Everyone but the political class, who've been on a non-stop spending and control spree since before we finished subduing Adolf.

A ceasefire would also be good for Russia. They've made their point. They have saved most of the ethnic Russians in the area, and are well-placed to defend them. Still, I can see where they might want to wrap things up, for as favorable a position for negotiating as possible, because I don't think they're interested in nor do they have any real reason to stop until they reach the Dnepr, which is a good, natural barrier to invasion, of which there aren't that many in Ukraine's rolling landscape.

@keen9629 Macgregor has a neocon streak that he tries to hide. A lot of his criticism isn't the policy but how it's implemented. "You didn't have to go to war. You could've just overthrown the man in charge." Or words to that effect. Regime-change foreign policy is un-American.

The Internet gave them power. That's why the Internet is under unceasing attack by would-be censors. They try to censor without getting caught actually censoring, but de-platforming and shadow-banning, etc., aren't as easy to hide as squashing a story by calling up 3 networks and 2 newspapers.
